Thomas joined BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA in 2015 and is currently Head Legal CIB Zurich. He worked as attorney at law in Zurich for many years, with a particular focus on international corporate and commercial law as well as general banking matters. Thomas studied law at the University of Zurich (lic.iur./2005) and earned a LL.M. in banking and finance law from Queen Mary, University of London, in 2012 (with distinction). In 2019 he earned a Digital Lawyer Certificate from University Paris Assas and in 2021 Thomas completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is a contributor to leading journals. Furthermore, Thomas has been active in politics for almost 20 years and is also a Swiss army officer (Major; active reserve), currently serving as President of the Cantonal Officers Association of Zurich.
