Thomas joined a leading foreign bank in Switzerland in September 2015 as Legal Counsel within the corporate and investment banking division (CIB). He worked as attorney at law in Zurich for many years, with a particular focus on international corporate and commercial law as well as general banking matters. He studied law at the University of Zurich (lic.iur./2005), passed the bar exam in 2008 and earned an LL.M. in banking and finance law (with distinction) from Queen Mary, University of London, in 2012. Thomas regularly publishes in his fields of expertise.
He has been active in politics for almost 20 years and is also a Swiss army officer (Major; active reserve).
